This book was published in conjunction with the staging of Photography Brassaï in Singapore, an exhibition featuring 84 original prints by Brassaï, one of the most prolific photographers of the 20th century. The images that appear in this book are reproduced with permission from the estate of Brassaï and Madam Agnès de Gouvion Saint-Cyr, curator of the Brassaï Collection who was instrumental to the success and realisation of the project in Singapore.
