Made in Singapore – Three Quarters of a Century aimed to contextualise Singapore’s contemporaneity through featuring the work of outstanding visual art NAFA alumni who have shaped the local and regional art scene since the 1990s, and also its fresh graduates who have demonstrated remarkable energy and creativity. As the longest established visual art school in incubating the art of Singapore, NAFA plays an important role in the cultural development of our society. In the past twenty years, the increasingly progressive cultural policies and developed economy have encouraged and influenced the growth of Singapore’s visual art in many affirmative ways.
NAFA, in the midst of this transforming and thriving process, continues to embrace the role as a major incubator in cultivating and fostering creative minds in Singapore.
