Workshops and Events > Past Exhibitions Land before our time - a vernacular in Southeast Asian art making

A collective showcase of large-scale works that conceptually uses the elements of space and scale to connect directly to the idea of the land in Southeast Asia, and the inhabitants of the land before the time that geopolitical boundaries became evident and necessary. Featuring contemporary works by Southeast Asian artists like I Nyoman Masriadi, Yunizar, Natee Utarit, Chua Ek Kay, Jimmy Ong and Ronald Ventura, this exhibition explored the unique qualities of a Southeast Asian lineage that evolved from the post-colonial age.
