Workshops and Events > Past Exhibitions Our Children: Tang Da Wu II

Venue: The Ngee Ann Kongsi Galleries 1 & 2

Following on from an exhibition on the First Arts Council, 2011 and Situationist Bon Gun in 2013, this exhibition double bill assembled several installations as critical gestures toward contextual art making through the generations.                                                                                                The first exhibition featured 2 large installations titled: Hak Tai’s Bow and Brother’s Pool, an homage to pioneering art principals, Lim Hak Tai and Brother Joseph McNally.                                                                      The second, Our Children, was a showcase of works that illustrated Da Wu’s teaching experiences, comprising mostly installation pieces. There was also a performance by Station House da Opera and interactive dialogues for the exhibition. This second showcase was accompanied by Institute of Southeast Asian Arts’ fourth instalment of Southeast Asian Art Clinic.
