The relationship between prints and craftsmanship, as well as social concerns of the time take centrestage in this exhibition that critically enumerates the practice in Nanyang’s history and artistic legacy. In conjunction with this exhibition, the publication “The Single Leaf” was launched on 29 February 2012 in a casual gathering of participating artists, featuring 54 selected woodblock prints from NAFA’s collection, masterful forebears and alumni artists such as Cheong Soo Pieng, Lim Mu Hue, Tan Tee Chie, Tay Chee Toh, Eng Joo Heng and Cathrine Lo.
