Vun Art Cooperative (2017 - )
Founded in 2017 by Le Viet Cuong, VỤN Art is a social enterprise that empowers people with disabilities. Specialiing in craft products made from Van Phuc silk, the enterprise designs and produces artistic fabric collages inspired by Vietnamese folk stories handmade by local artisans. They organise activities and workshops on assembling folk paintings from recycled fabrics and facilitate visits to the Van Phuc Silk Village. Their work introduces participants to Vietnam's rich cultural heritage, traditional silk products of Vạn Phúc Village led by artisans of the VỤN ART community. In 2019, UNESCO recognised VỤN Art as a sustainable model for culture, product development, and job creation in Van Phuc Village, Vietnam, particularly for disadvantaged groups.
