Created during the NAFA Hui Chun celebration on 28 January 2023, this calligraphy work was composed and written by the artist in celebration of his alma mater’s 80th anniversary and later donated to the NAFA Collection. Executed in running script (xingshu), the work combines fluid brush movements with dynamic variations in line weight, creating a sense of vitality and continuity across the composition. The self-composed poem conveys congratulations and well wishes for the institution’s enduring legacy, while the act of gifting the work reflects the artist’s longstanding connection to NAFA and his contribution to its artistic heritage.
