Ezzam Rahman trained in sculpture at LASALLE-SIA College of the Arts, where he obtained his Diploma in Fine Arts (Sculpture) in 2003. Ezzam works with various mediums, including sculpture, installation and performance art, to construct glimpses into the human condition, striking up conversations through his art on the notion of impermanence.
Conversation with an Idiot is a photographic documentation of a performance piece made during Rahman’s study trip to the University of Huddersfield in 2009. This artwork conveyed the alienation of being an Asian in England and the miscommunications he experienced during his time in North England.
