Explorations: Chinese Ink at NAFA showcases the works of 15 NAFA alumni ink artists and current students majoring in Chinese ink, from the Fine Art programme. Each work offers a perspective of the artists’ research, experimentation and exploration, demonstrating the creative potential of Chinese ink as a medium, as well as the diverse application and interpretation of ink aesthetics.
The publication includes a Foreword by Sabrina Koh, Vice Dean, Fine Art Programme, NAFA, and a short essay by Iris Lim, Manager, Art Galleries, NAFA, discussing the artists' bold reimagining of traditional Chinese ink paintings through contemporary practices.
