This publication accompanies the academic showcase documenting the recent works of 11 NAFA alumni and current students whose explorations demonstrate the ways in which Chinese ink can be reinvented and reinterpreted to convey the artists perceptions of their external world and the meaning of life.
The publication includes a short essay by Iris Lim, Manager, Art Galleries, NAFA, discussing the evolving practice of Chinese ink as a departure from traditional aesthetics to embrace new forms of the medium.
