This inaugural film exhibition featured films and short stories by filmmakers Kanakan-Balintagos (formerly known as Auraeus Solito), Garin Nugroho and Sherman Ong, which set out to demonstrate how stories were told in a Southeast Asian context through the use of techniques and vernacular unique to the region.
