Stanley Wong is a talented photographer known widely in the Hong Kong art scene as anothermountainman. Trained as a graphic designer, he graduated from the Hong Kong Technical Teachers College (Design and Technology) and currently runs his own tv commercial production company threetwoone. His illustrious career includes a 3 year stint in Singapore as the CEO of renowned advertising company Bartle Bogle Hegarty (BBH) and as an artist, known for his signature work redwhiteblue at the 51st Venice Biennale. NAFA is proud to have presented Of Things Present, which featured excerpts of 4 serial collections, lanwei, life and death 1, life and death 2 and the art of dying that reflected his passion and veneration of life. His skill in photography is “merely a tool”, he stressed, “that helps me bring out the beauty of the seemingly worthless, giving it new life”.
