Venue: The Ngee Ann Kongsi Galleries 1 & 2
Date Of Event: 19-Oct-22

Organised by the Institute of Southeast Asian Arts and in conjunction with part two of the double bill exhibition, Art School SG: ‘This One is Dangerous’, the ninth instalment of Art Clinic explores, and questions accepted norms in the arts education and practice of the arts in Singapore.

Through an exploration of the artworks and conceptual interventions presented in this exhibition, Student presenters from the School of Art & Design challenged conventional truths and analyse Tang’s artworks through the lenses of expression, language, and form. Most important of all, through this clinic the students gets to experience how questions and contradictions, arguments and polarities or two extreme sides, are essential to the advancement of arts education.
