Organised by the Institute of Southeast Asian Arts and in conjunction with part two of the double bill exhibition, Art School SG: ‘This One is Dangerous’, the General Studies module is a lecture and walking tour of the exhibition which explores, and questions the accepted norms in arts education and practice of the arts in Singapore.
Some of the topics explored in these sessions include conceptual interventions presented in this exhibition, as well as challenges in the trajectory of arts education throughout history. Through encounters with Tang Da Wu’s works, and the lenses of his expression, language, and form, students uncover a new ways of looking at art through their journey of learning.
