Chin Hwee Khim is an artist and an educator passionate about enriching young minds. Chin graduated with a Diploma in Fine Arts (Distinction), majoring in Printmaking at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in 2008. Currently, she holds teaching positions at the NAFA Arts Preschool and the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts Junior Art Programme. In 2016, Chin obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) from Loughborough University. In 2019, to better understand the needs of her students, she underwent a Diploma in Early Childhood Teaching course at the Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore. She has also exhibited her works in several shows, including the Alt Ground Art Exhibition at Mettle Work, Singapore, and the Wood and Fibre Show at White Studio, Singapore.

Chin works with a variety of mediums and styles. She draws inspiration from her surroundings and personal experiences, such as the people she encounters and materialism, and translates these ideas into her art. Her captivating works have been exhibited both locally and abroad. The experimental artist is also always open to sharing her knowledge with learners of other ages. She has actively engaged with students in different arenas, such as through her artist residency at St Anthony’s Canossian Primary School in 2008 and as an art instructor at various community events.
