Published in conjunction with the exhibtion Underwater Series 2020, this book presents a collection of Chinese ink paintings by Tay Kiam Hong, an established artist and NAFA alumnus. The book is a culmination of his research on marine life and his innovations in Chinese ink painting techniques on this unique subject matter.
The publication includes a foreword by Malaysian architect and botanist Datuk Lim Chong Keat, and an essay by Dr Bridget Tracy Tan, Director, Institute of Southeast Asian Arts and Art Galleries NAFA as well as writings and poems by contributors at the artist's invitation - Dr Cheah Thien Soong, Wu Yongliang, Chantal Serrière, Graham Sage and Patricia Irvine.
