Date Of Event: 20 August - 18 September 2022

Singaporean artist Tang Da Wu presented the first of his double-bill exhibition at NAFA’s galleries, featuring site-specific installations, drawings and live performances that invite discussion and explorations on colours, objects that exist in nature and the question: What is an art school?

At the opening event on 19 August 2022, Tang Da Wu performed “Tired of Living” 活得不耐烦了and shared 2 of the 60 “secrets” in his artistic practice. The guests watched 2 performances at the foyer both directed by Tang. The first performance, “Vincent’s Letters”, transforms written correspondences between Vincent and Theo van Gogh into bodily expressions. The second act, “Empty, Em不[Bù]ty”, illuminates the concept of sharing, clashing and keeping of knowledge systems between people.
