In line with the exhibition 'Streams of Change' and the UOB window display 'Lines of Change' students visited 4 sites in Singapore - Sago Lane, Emerald Hill, Boat Quay and Cavenagh Bridge. Using the sites as case studies, they explored how ecological and cultural shifts can shape identity and connection, as well as how their artistic practice can respond to the ever-changing landscapes of our world.
NAFA's Bachelor of Fine Arts (BAFA), Bachelor of Design Practice (BADP) and Bachelor of Biophillic Design (BABD) students pieced a triptych depicting change in response to the site and its histories.
The masterclass workshops were facilitated by Thai artists Dr Supachai Areerungruang and Chomrawi Suksom, who shared concepts and processes behind their artistic practice and works.
