Workshops and Events > Past Workshops and Activities UOB - NAFA Southeast Asian Arts Forum 2025 | Imaginary Library: The Art of Embodied Chronicles

Venue: NAFA Campus 3, The Ngee Ann Kongsi Galleries 1 & 2, NAFA Campus 1, Studio Theatre
Date Of Event: 7- 8 August 2025

Organised by the Institute of Southeast Asian Arts (ISEAA) at NAFA-UAS, and now in its sixth edition, the UOB-NAFA Southeast Asian Arts Forum 2025 takes on the theme "Imaginary Library: The Art of Embodied Chronicles". Featuring livestreamed presentations, performances, and dialogues, the Forum brings together artists, scholars, and cultural practitioners from across the region to reflect on the ways stories are remembered, reimagined, and embodied through artistic practice.

In a world increasingly shaped by digital technologies, shifting cultural landscapes, and contested histories, the Forum provides space for Southeast Asian voices to share and debate how art can preserve, reinterpret, and transmit the narratives that define our communities. It invites us to consider the library beyond an archive of texts, but as a living repository of embodied experiences and creative possibilities.
