In this final iteration of Văn Miếu - Quốc Tử Giám (Temple of Literature), ISEAA brings back our principal partner, Heritage Space and their principals to introduce the tradition of the practice and intricacies of the Xuân Phả folk dance to performing art students.
Alongside them was UOB-NAFA Artist in Residence recipient, Mr Trinh Minh Tien, who shared with the students about his practice and conducted a linocut printmaking workshop with students, introducing them to traditional Vietnamese motifs and the medium of traditional Vietnamese Dó paper.
After an introductory lecture, over 210 students from across all schools at NAFA (Design & Media, 3D Design, Fine art, Arts Management, Interdisciplinary Studies, Fashion Studies, Music, Dance and Theatre) participated in one of two workshops across the 3 days.
