Organised by ISEAA and held in conjunction with the exhibition entitled How to Desire Differently, the 7th instalment of the Southeast Asia Art Clinic engaged students on the theme of identity and body politics in Singapore visual arts.
Split into a two-part series consisting of an online forum and face to face dialogue sessions, the participating artists Adeline Kueh, Fitri Ya'akob, Jason Wee, Vimal Kumar and Zulkhairi Zulkiflee shared about their practices and insights on the exhibition.
Selected student presenters from the School of Art & Design talked about various works from the exhibition that was presented in both online and onsite formats. The presentations resulted in an online collection of performances, short films and zines engaging themes relating to the female body, queerness and racial identity.
